  • Technology up-gradation
    Technology upgradation is needed for improving quality of handloom products and increasing productivity. This scheme is for making improvement in looms, upgrading/ adopting new technology in dyeing, sizing, processing and printing; modernization of warping yarn sizing facilities, application of IT in production, marketing, quality development, brand creation and technology build up for value addition. Collection and dissemination of National and international technologies/designs will also be included under this scheme. The scheme aims to provide assistance to 40 PHWCS during 2013-14 under guidance of IIHT, Kannur.
Exhibition Grant Applications
  1. Exhibition grant will be Rs 10,000 or Actual Expense or 10% of total sales whichever is less
  2. Application must be submitted within 6 months of attending exhibition
  3. Society must have availed permission from the concerned GM to attend any exhibition outside the district
  4. Society must submit "Participation Certificate" along with the application to prove that they have attended the exhibition

Handloom Weavers Co-operative Societies | Govt Rebate Application

Handloom Co-operative society may apply in prescribed form to get the Government rebate allowed by the society to its customers as per the direction of the Government. Society must keep the following ready for inspection: Opening Bill to be attested by the concerned inspector Closing Bills to be attested by the inspector Opening stock statement - item wise (quantity to be shown in metres) Closing stock statement - item wise Yarn stock report Certificate of Welfare board that subscription has been paid and its uptodate Certificate stating that morethan 60% of the sales collection has been remitted into RBICC Account of the society Certificate stating that all weavers details are uploaded online Certificate regarding Handloom Mark registration and the serial numbers of starting and ending  Handloom marks Copy of bank passbook to show that above 60% of the collection has been remitted to the RBICC accout Application must be submitted in triplicate, original for Director, copy to Gener...
