    • Facilitating candidate selection, loan sanctioning, entrepreneurship training, and fund disbursement.

    • Ensuring long-term sustainability of established units.

    • Meeting targeted numbers for both sanctions and disbursements.

    • Maintaining complete documentation and case-level data.

    • Assisting financial institutions in recovery by organizing recovery camps and conducting joint inspection visits.

  2. Local Project Implementation: Identify and execute industry-related projects within respective Grama Panchayats, Block Panchayats, Municipalities, and Corporations.

  3. Scheme Promotion: Popularize various schemes run by the Industries Department among the public.

  4. Institutional Link: Serve as a direct bridge connecting Local Self-Government Institutions (LSGIs) and the Industries Department.

  • Block Office Posting: IEOs must mark their physical attendance at their respective Block Panchayat Offices on Mondays and Wednesdays. A monthly self-declaration must be submitted to the concerned ADIO.

  • Taluk Office Posting: On all other working days, officers are required to work from their respective Taluk Industries Offices.
